E3 2018

Fortnite Merch by NEU

6 weeks before the start of E3 2018, NEU was contacted by Epic Games to discuss merchandising their Fortnite booth at the event. NEU was tasked with designing + producing the merchandise, organizing the booth setup including POS capabilities, staffing, and selling for the 3-day event.

As expected, the gear was a huge hit. We completed more than 3,400 unique transactions, averaging out to over 2 transactions every minute for the 3-day period. In addition to the booth at E3, Fortnite hosted their first ever Pro-Am, teaming up 50 pro players with 50 celebrities and setting them against each other for their share of a $3 million charity prize pool. NEU setup the merchandise booth and provided the staffing + POS system to make it happen.

Filming and capturing E3 2018 for NEU, I focused on their collaboration with Epic Games for merchandising the Fortnite events. My footage highlighted the dynamic atmosphere of the booth, showcasing the unique merchandise and the excitement of attendees. I documented key moments, including the setup process and customer interactions, which provided valuable insights for a case study. This visual content not only illustrates NEU's successful partnership with Epic Games but also serves as a testament to the impact of effective merchandising at large-scale events.
